That was funny. I never understood why vader let himself become the emperor's bitch. He was too much of a loose cannon.

He knew he wasn't strong enough to over throw the emperor...he only had about 80% or so of his original power after he was nearly killed on mustafar.

I would argue that he was more powerful as vader. In any case luke was more powerful than he was and he couldn't stand up to the emporer either.
