Mr. Uwe Boll, the mastermind behind the colossal videogame movie hits such as House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne*, is getting ready to shake n’ bake the video game world. Gamedaily reports that Boll is financing a FPS shooter based on his upcoming Vietnam War flick, Tunnel Rats.
Replay Studios will be under the development helm for Boll’s gaming endeavor. The German developer company will be utilizing their Replay Engine, seen in Gamecock’s Sabotage WWII game during E3 ’07.
Michael Moehring, managing director of Replay Studios, said, "Tunnel Rats is a first-person shooter set during the Vietnam War that tells the story of a young G.I. who escapes from a POW camp and journeys through a heavily fortified valley in the Chu Chi province." The game will feature over 10 jungle/tunnel leves and a dozen of weapons players can choose from. Tunnel Rats will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC.
"If this game does well then we’ll keep going with other game ideas," said Boll. Innovative features never found in a FPS game such as shooting, sneaking, melee fights and disarming traps will sure make this game a complete hit!*
*Maybe in another planet, parallel universe or a delusional acid trip.
Hellsing is just going to love this.:lol:
I just about lost it when they called him a mastermind. This guys must have nude pics of various excecs across the entertainment industry with tranny's. There's no other explanation as to why he keeps getting these opprtunities.
