Cool Pics!
I always wanted to see one until I drove through Kentucky one time.
Every county we had just driven through had a tornado sighting.
My suggestion to the driver: DRIVE FASTER!

Tornados are terrifying to me. I've never seen one live, but they are in my dreams on occasion (lots of natural diastaer type stuff is), and those are the dreams that I say "Dang" when I wake up from them. I don't know if I'd have the proverbial balls to hang out during one and take pics...hats off to you. :D

Damn, those are great photos. Did you really take them? I would love to see one for real. I been so close but never saw a tornado.

Jeebus, I wouldn't like to get that close to a Tornado ... but I bet it must be quite a rush, essentially being *that* close to being sucked up into a funnel of wind and flushed away forever more...

I remember walking into school one day when I was a kid and it was hailing like a nutter outside - fat-as chunks of hail I'd never seen before, not your usual pussy British hail, I got utterly pelted and it hurt like monkey balls ... not as breathtakingly-exciting as chasing a killer wind funnel, but at the time it still hurt...I was just a kid afterall!

It's a huge rush. I chase alot of storms but that's only the third tornado I've caught up with (and the closest).
