There was a prison warden out west, in texas i believe, that implemented a similar tactic regarding the inmates at his prison. He made them all wear pink prison issue underwear, and yes it was mandatory. This seems like a trend that's spreading.

^^ your talking about a prison in California. I believe its a tent prison in the middle of the desert. They all wear pink. When Paris Hilton was going to jail originally the warden suggested to the Judge that she should come to his prison.

Very funny. Hello Kitty is definatly for females and as a guy I would be embarassed to have to wear that arm band.

On a side note, my girlfriend loves Hello Kitty, her mom gave her a Hello Kitty toaster and a Hello Kitty waffle iron that makes Kitty shaped waffles. I think the toaster puts an image of Hello Kitty on the toast. Crazy stuff.
