Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Diary of the Dead and 84C MoPic?

But instead of American soldiers being overrun by Viet Namese guerrillas, Romero has college film students "shooting" marauding zombies in first person perspective.

I'll run through the list of similarities.

1.) 84C MoPic = platoon drop into hot zones via helicopter
1.) Diary = students drive into hot zones via winnabago

2.) 84C MoPic = main character's perspective shown mainly through camera lense
2.) Diary = main character's perspective shown mainly through camera lense

3.) 84C MoPic = platoon is overran by Viet Namese guerrillas
3.) Diary = students overran by zombies

It's a Viet Nam movie filmed in first person perspective, long before that Blair Witch crap. I recommend you see it. I'm sure it is the closest movie to compare Diary of the Dead to, atleast stylistically.

By that rational, you could sum up 99% of movies with this description:

Good Vs. Evil
