Very sad news... Karl Hardman passed away over the weekend. I'm sure all fans will fondly remember Karl's portrayal of 'Harry Cooper' in 'Night of the Living Dead' - Who in the end of course was right about it being safer in the cellar!
Karl was kind enough to provide the first interview to this site almost ten years ago!

Well this is a horrible thing to hear on a Sunday morning. Er, afternoon.
He will be missed. He played "the asshole" in a film to a T.

That he did but he was right about getting into that cellar. I know my @$$ would have been down there with him in a heart beat. After tying his little girl down to a the board she was laying on.

Ohhh, this rips my heart out. I met Karl about 6 yrs agao at the Monster Bash.
Both him and Marilyn were just the nicest people that day.
Thanks Karl for that most memorable role.

maybe someone can help me;I recently watched "The Crazies"in DVD,the first time I saw the movie in UK during a English Summer course in 1981;there's the scene of the first struggle between the mad people and the Army(the girl with the broom closing the crazies bunch)and I think I saw Karl tossing molotov bottles at the soldiers, isn't he?
