I am curious...who all decorates for Halloween?
I never used to, we put some stuff out last year just to spoil our granddaughter and she loved it!
So back to my question who all does alittle decorating?

Oh and I also break out all my zombie movies too, I have a habit of not watching them for atleast a few weeks or more then get them out Halloween week. But, I guess that would be a separate question lol

If I'm lucky, I get a chance to decorate myself. :skull: Other than that, I only decorate for parties etc. I may carve a pumpkin this year, however.

It's such a tiny thing here in the UK, I've seen it tail off dramatically in my area, last year there was almost not a single trick-or-treater out and about, besides, it rained last Halloween which was handy to keep the sh*ts with no costumes who jangle change in their pockets suggestively from egging your door with one egg like a right bunch of nob'ended losers.

It'd be good if some mates had a proper Halloween house party though and we all had to dress up, but as yet that hasn't happened...so...

Anyway, last Halloween I watched "Halloween" and "The Thing"...the latter still scared the be-crap out of me.

We desorate every year. We also give out candy. Traditionally we also sit on the front porch and eat toasted pumpkin seeds and watch the deputies try and track down the kids with firecrackers too.:D

Oh! We used to do roasted pumpkin seeds when I was growing up! I never liked the taste too much (better with a bit of salt, but not much), but the smell was great! Thanks for the memory, Marie :)

I go balls to the wall on Halloween... for the kids of course... its cool when lil tykes come to the door and just kinda stand there in awe ... I remember being a kid and going to peoples houses and in my neighborhood it was AWESOME people paid actual companies that specialize in decorating the exterior of your home for the different holidays... and they'd go nuts! It was sweet. And I think its a dying tradition as I see less and less people doing it... B'sides... its fun to spread fake spider webs and put fake rats around and light tons of candles and carve scary faces into pumpkins and play scary noises on the ol stereo system etc... fun times...

Halloween is the one day a year when its okay to really be the creepy chick

I don't really do anything to my house. Last year I found a cool diagram on how to carve the Ghostbusters logo into a pumpkin, so I had to get a pumpkin after that.

All I really dress up is myself as a ghostbuster. For several years now I've been the same thing. But I guess after spending several years making a costume, you kinda want to wear it as much as possible.

Damn Bass, you got it bad for that movie doncha? Oh well, at least it's Ghostbusters and not Rocky Horror...

Yeah. It's a bad ass costume though, man. I might get some pictures up here so you guys can see how screen accurate it looks.:elol:

I do like Rocky Horror, but you'll never see me dress up like most fans do. Except for maybe Riff Raff in his butler's suit.....that would be cool.

we have adult themed halloween parties
we do decorate
i have a friend whose wife is into making all these wierd things
so i say what the hell

at a typical party there will be a girl wwearing a diaper
as an adult baby with a giant bottle with jack daniels in it,
another freind of mine went to the dollar store and bought
every barbie doll and pulled thier heads off and made an outfit
covered in barbie doll heads and its gets odd from there...

the best part is when we are at my friends house who lives on the 3rd floor
and we sit out on the porch and fling candy down at the heads
of the little punks who roam the streets
now I know people have yelled at me for being cruel for doing this
to children but these are not nice kids they are evil
imagine bouncing a snickers bar off some kids head and his response to you
is to throw down another, so whap here ya go you little soon to be convict

then its off to the clubs where jello shots seem to be the thing
lots of puking and moaning follow the next day
but whats halloween without some torture...

Halloween is my favorite holiday. When I see the stock boy loading the shelves at walmart with creepy decor I get as giddy as a school girl. In fact that very same day I went home (after adding to my collection) and started digging out my decorations. I actually had my halloween decor up two weeks ago. :o

*gets a funny mental image of trick or treaters going to more than one forum members house only to have someone playing halo 3 in the front room to yell "**** OFF!" without looking away form the screen before they even finish "trick-"*

my girlfriend says that she wants to dress up a zombie for halloween this year....i think she might be the one:D

guess that means i gotta dress up as a zombie, too. haven't done that one in several years.

last year i was gonna go a patrick bateman, but just ended up staying home instead of going out, since i had to make an emergency trip to mississippi the next morning. what's everyone else going as?....besides you, bassman, i've already seen your previous posts.

love those bears abe
( that was dr van hellsings first name in the novel
so I may call you that occaisonally)

they give new meaning to the "care bears" thing

and deb doesnt consider it pedopilia
its called "intergenerational love"

she beleives a child should only have the right to say no
to intamacy with an adult if they also have the right to say yes as well

she is very progresssive

and yes I expect her to kill me for this
