This is horrible. More and more simple pleasures have some overarching fear hanging over them nowadays. I was hoping that Terran would have calming words of science-based wisdom, but even he seems in quiet shock on the matter. Sad indeed.

This is horrifying and makes me want to think twice the next time I'm on my way to go swim in a man-made quarry.
