They just keep looking more and more hypocritical all the time. Voting against any legigislation that would further the gay rights agenda yet ball sniffing on the side. That old saying holds true: " Me thinks they doth protest too much". :sneaky:

swim the warm waters of sins of the flesh
erotic nightmares beyond any measure
and sensual daydreams to treasure forever

I'll speak for myself here. It's not the fact that he's gay that bothers me. It's the rank hypocracy of people who don't "practice what they preach". You can't condemn a gay lifestyle and be all for family values then get caught with a prostitute or soliciting gay sex and not expect to get called out on it. I call a spade a spade. I don't know, i'm just funny that way,.

Actually I dont think he's a transvestite they fancy women not men... they just dress up like women...

I dont think anyones gay bashing there's nothing wrong with being gay what's wrong is when you're a member of a political party that kicks out gays and then you get outed. You shouldn't have to hide it and if you belong to a party that doesn't accept you then what does that say about them? How are they going to protect your interests? I can only hope that this additional recent outing of another gay Republican will only further spark gays not only to vote Democratic but to come out in droves to vote against those that seek to say you're not welcome in our party. How can we preach equality as a society when a major political force can't even accept certain members of their own?

What I find particularly "hypocritical" is that liberals and democrats "champion" gay rights, tolerance, and political correctness, then a gay republican shows up and they go ape**** with the gay bashing. He's gay, big deal.

And saying "oh well its because Republicans are against homosexuality"

A. False.
B. False, but lets pretend they we're, why do liberals and democrats resort to using homosexuality as an insult, and something to be ashamed of when they are supposed (in their minds) to be the ones who are tolerant?

Kind of like how they were calling Michael Steel an uncle Tom because he is a black republican... he was being called an uncle tom by a white liberal by the way. If a republican said that he would be crucified.

So you admit that you're homophobic then. You ARE funny that way. Since when by the way does being gay equate to not having family values? Admit you're a homophobic now, or else I will have to write you off as "another" person stuffed with "rank hypocrisy".

Of course its gay bashing, otherwise why use being gay as an insult and something to be ashamed of? Either its ok and its not a big deal, or its a big deal and being gay is not ok. People need to make up their minds.

What if he was truly ashamed of himself and hated himself for being the way he is, and honestly believed in his previous stances regarding homosexual "rights"? Would he still be a hypocrite or just a sad lonely little self hater? I don't recall him trying to get married to another man.

First of all, who is gay bashing? There was a mention of paying your prostitues in full, a mention of family values (and anybody who preaches family values then cheats on their spouse is a hypocrite, no matter what sex they cheat with), a mention of how republicans consistantly vote against gay rights yet have gays among them, and then the inital poster saying "gotta love them! The party of morals. "I AM NOT GAY!!!!" I just like to fvck other men!" which is a jab at republicans and their hypocrisy.

So then after those posts you go off about liberals gay bashing. Nobody was gay bashing.

Republicans being against homosexuality? Maybe not all of them, but they sure as hell vote against gay rights and pass more anti-gay legislation than any other party. Wasn't George W. Bush's politcal slogan that he was going to ban gay marrige and as president I would say he is the top representative of the Republican party.

So yeah, ask any gay person which party is anti-gay and most if not all will say the Republicans.

So yes, the title is proper and well deserving. I think your taking offense becuase your homophobic and since your a republican you don't want to be compared to a gay republican.

And then you throwing things out like "Admit that your homophobic or else..." Yeah, tell somebody they are homophobic because you disagree because people think this situation is funny.

And MissJackson put it best

How can we preach equality as a society when a major political force can't even accept certain members of their own?

Nobody is gay bashing here, you are trying to stir up trouble where none yet exists. We are laughing at a situation.

And you know what, it's hillarious.

Oh, and before you start calling me a homophobe I will just tell you that while I am not gay, I have quite a few friends who are and I am very tolerant of them. I accept people for who they are, not who they sleep with.

If you follow the republican talking points being gay is immoral, so it is not i who equate it with not having family values it's them. It's funny you should say i'm homophobic. My uncle is staying with us for a week and he's gay. I love him, he's a great guy. I couldn't care less what his sexual preference is. It's not what into but if it makes him happy so be it. Being a hypocrite means saying one thing with your words and then doing another with your actions. Once again many republicans in congress fit the bill. I'm from new york and we're very tolerant of the alternate lyfestyles of others. I think the rank hypocracy would much better fit the right wing lunatic fringe in the midwest that profess to be christian yet pass judgement on others at the drop of a hat just because they don't believe what they do or don't live how they live even though the new testament clearly says "let he who has not sinned cast the first stone." Or like my man ice cube said "check yourself bfore you wreck yourself." It's also a republican custom to instead of taking an issue head on soley based on it's merits to start namecalling when it becomes apparent that their argument has no merit. That's why ron paul kicks ass. He says what he means and he means what he says.

i dont see how this is even gay bashing at all

first of all this guy is a major perv
a kinky one who I find to be funny as all hell

as much as mr K likes to get upset when he thinks
his dear republicans are being attacked
first off i never said anything about him being a republican
and second most gay guys dont wear womens clothes
and pick up rough trade in porno parlors

this guy is a perv plain and simple
i dont care if he is republican or if he isnt
and i dont consider it gay bashing cuz he
is not your typical gay and if you know any gay people
you know they dont behave like this guy

this guy is movie of the week material
i want to see a picture of him dressed up in his prettty underthings
looking for some loving from his rough trade boy toy hustler

hell that pic would be scarier than any zombie

khardis sometimes i think you take things way
too seriously. lighten up. you cant find any humor
in this guys behavior? this is classic stuff.

Um, actually, it IS titled "Another Not Gay Republican". Just for the record!

The only bashing going on in this thread is you bashing the other members. there is no gay bashing here, it is hypocrisy bashing as far as i can tell!

Everyone is bashing the rethuglican hipocrisy of constantly voting against gay marriage and taking a platform the paints homosexuality as immoral (Cause Gawd said so!) Then, on so many occasions lately, we are seeing these republicans being outed as gay.

Its akin to a black politician constantly voting against equal rights, the only difference is a black politician can not hide his color the way a gay politician can hide his sexual orientation.

We all know the drill by now: Out of respect for Mr Curtis's family, we ask the media not report anything more about these allegations. Mr Curtis has a drinking problem and has entered rehab in an undisclosed location. Mr Curtis believes God will forgive him. Oh and we'd like to remind everyone about Bill Clinton's blowjob. Thank you and have a nice day. God bless the troops.

Just as we know Khardis' drill by now as well: Someone posts a thread that is anti-republican (Doesnt really matter the subjuect, as long as your bashing republicans) Khardis comes in after several people have voiced thier opinions and makes several line by line replies to every single person that had anything to say on the subjuect. Exudes his vast knowledge all things everything to us, tells us we are all stupid, liberlas who dont know what we are talking about and then resorst the the childish insults after all that fails.

Gay marriage SHOULD BE LEAGAL IN THIS COUNTRY. Anyone who disagrees with that statement is a HOMOPHOBE!!!!!!

lol... just lol to your 1st statement. And It is gay bashing and homophobia to use someone's homosexuality as a reason to bash on them. Pointing out that they are gay just to make a point of contention is gay bashing.

To everyone who has gay friends etc... good for you. It doesn't make you immune from being homophobic.

I have a gay friend, I have a black friend, etc statements are qualifiers, they attempt to qualify something racist or homophobic that one has said. For example:

I ain't a racist and I have Italian friends but how come Italians are so dumb!
For all you Italians out there, chill I am just making an example. I myself am Italian so don't send me any hate PMs or whatever. But using the "i have *blank minority* friend(s)/Family members/work with doesnt make you immune to being a racist etc.

So lay off the guy because he is gay, again BIG DEAL. Get over it you homophobes.

Actually, in my experence, if they're honest MOST people are bisexual, only a few of us are honestly crippled by not being open to ANY alternative experences. This includes the radically Gay as well as the radically straight.

THe title of the thread is not "Another not gay republican" but "Another "Not Gay" Republican", and I assume you actually read other peoples replies before replying? before this post gets dumped i have to thank dmb for this
who knew you could have so much fun with politics

i did some more looking on it and

quote:
The police report contains an account of how Curtis allegedly donned women’s clothing, red stockings and a black sequined lingerie top before engaging in a sex act at the store. He continued to wear them throughout the night under his clothing.

(ohh that is too much)

and:
Curtis would wave his pocket bible in people's faces and tell us he found all his answers therein. Apparently the bible plus the erotic boutique, gay XXX porn and high-priced man candy were needed to cover all his varied interests.

The stench of hypocrisy is thick over La Center tonight. I feel sorry for his family. I haven't got any sympathy for Curtis himself.
(that was from a member of his district)

this guy rules
he should get out of politics and open a club

and to be fair to khardis
if he truly thinks people are bashing gays and he is
defending them, then I applaud that
but I, like most others here and in his district are
amazed by his outrageous behavior and his hypocracy

so maybe cut khardis some slack

but thanks again dmb
this guy is a party animal
