My 666th post

Not really a topic, but I thought I would commemorate my 666th post with this thread.

Actually got me thinking, is 666 really supposed to refer to Nero, or is it someone else as the modern day Christians claim?

I have heard that it isn't 666 at all, but in fact 616. If this is so, then this is way off!

I do understand that the entire 666 thing is about the numerical code associated with the characters of the Aramaic Alphabet (or is it the hebrew?) but without knowing what letters this corresponds with, people will do some damned fuzzy math logic to make 666 fit the name of the person they feel is the antichrist. (Ronald Wilson Regan, for example)

Anyways, forgive me everyone for this post! I promise not to do another meaningless one like this until I hit 1111!

and apparently in the last so many years a new copy of one of the books in the bible was found, far older than any previously found and in it the number of the ebast was 616. some badns even changed lyrics from 666 to 616 to suit it.
