strange problem logging in...

i closed my browser for a bit then reopened it. came to the site and instead of logging in me automatically (with the green background i have chosen) i got the ordinary blue background and was asked to manually log in. i did. i got the thanks for logging message but instead of coming onto the boards i was routed back to the blue board and asked to log in again. i tried four or five times- same thing happened everytime.

finally i just hit log in without giving my username/password. it took me to that screen where it asks you to log in again- the one with the drop down menu. i tried the backdoor in and choose the "private messages" option. this time i got right in and was logged in automatically.

any ideas on why this could be happening???:confused:

This is very weird. The same thing happened to me. But the funny thing is, I just went to read this post and it logged me in when switching between pages.

Well here's a funny one....

I got on the site and I wasn't already logged in. When I entered my name and password, I accidentally entered the wrong password and realized it AFTER I had already hit enter. Then it logged me in anyway.

I know it was the wrong password because it's one that I use for other sites.....yet somehow it logged me in anyway.:confused:

thanks dude. i'll try that if this keeps happening.

there has to be a joke in there somewhere about my cookies being corrupted.
