attacks three, killing one on christmas day no less. how sad is this. damn. you would think that probably the most dangerous terrestrial animal on the planet would merit some serious security.

I thought the police were thinking the victims were deliberately trying to free the tiger?

Yeah, there's more to the story. The other 2 refuse to co-operate with the police and acted very hostile to them. They also have a long criminal history, so it too bad the tiger did not get them as well. I feel bad for the tiger and not the thugs.

yes more info has certainly emerged since i first posted this. this article was from right after the attacks.

this is sickening. the tiger is one of the most incredible, beautiful and amazing animals on the planet. the thought that this one might have been killed because of the stupidity of morons is something i find to be revolting in the extreme.
