Just bought my 360 today

I picked the halo 3 edition, bioshock, and dead rising for around 500 dollers from wal-mart, and i was wondering what other games i should get?

umm yea, and i'll get my x-box live gamertag on here asap..as soon as i remember what it is....

dude avatar sucks, i played a freinds, and im a big fan of the series, and it was teeeerrrrribbble, for exmaple all 1000 gamerpoint achievements can be gained in 20 seconds by hammering the b button, so im sure you can imagine not much thought whent into it as anything more than a cash in.

in fact thats a good tip, look up a games achievements before you buy the game, if theres only about ten ****/easy/unorigional ones its not going to be fun, if theres 30-50 really varied ones you know more time was put into the game, examples are halo 3 ,dead rising, oblivion, crackdown adn bioshock.

oh and orange box is a must, half life 2 with the ep add ons with team fortress and portal all for the price of one game.

I have seen the trailers for GTA 4, which included gameplay. I am impressed so far to the point of possibly buying it. RE 5, most definitely buying it.

Though its not pictured here, the second or third level has you fighting off zombies though a graveyard, and if they touch you, you turn in to one. Its not all bad though, you spew a geyser of blood from your mouth as your super move.

I also just bought the halo 3 legendary edition for 91 bucks and yea, it's pretty nifty. feels weird playin halo 3.

oh and my head set doesn't transmit voice for some reason..

Go to mygamercard.net, type in your gamercard, choose a theme and color, then click "generate gamer card". Below that, click on the "Forums" tab, and copy the text under "URL:" (it should be a .png file). Then go to your HPOTD settings, put that text in [IMG] tags like any other picture sig, and it will show up, automatically updating when you add to your gamerscore.

As for the headset issues, first and most obviously make sure the connector that goes in to the controller is set to on, and make sure that you aren't muting yourself. Do this by hitting the guide button, going to personal settings, and I think Voice. Its in there somewhere.

Shenmue 2 (while being a fantastic game) didn't work out well with the backward compatability thing on the 360. You can't take photos, the colour filter doesn't work, the music disappears (especially in the Golden Quarter), text disappears, voices disappear, even Ryo's head randomly disappears!

I'd rather play that bitch on the original Xbox or the Dreamcast.

Xbox Live has been messed up for the past day or so, its only been working sporadically for me. Its probably the reason why your gamercard isn't showing up. I'm always up for Halo 3, send me a friend invite and we'll play. Bungie released new maps, 3 of em for $10. Its worth it, Rat's Nest and Standoff are fantastic, and Foundry is like a canvas for the Forge feature.

Keep an ear out for the bits of "Aliens" referencing dialogue in the ship mission.

"I like to keep this handy for close encounters" as the chap gets his shotgun out, or when Captain Price says "move is soldier, we are leaving" ... I think there are other bits of dialogue referencing other films, or even "Aliens", but can't remember them right now.

Man alive, my first play through was in 48 hours but it was a great 48 hours. Makes you wish you could selectively delete memories so you could play it through again and have the same "wow" factor again...but even on second and third play throughs it's still great.

enjoying the orange box man? i got it last week adn ive done portal, half life 2 and ep one and im 30 mins into episode 2, wich is looking a bit less origional but still loads of fun, but portal is the best game in there in my opinion ,you tried that yet?

nope, playing through hl2 as of now, then going to start ep 1, then ep 2. Played a bit of team fortress, and i love it! so much fun for such a simple game. The pyro classes taunt thing reminds me of the sand people from star wars.

have yet to try portal, but for 67 dollers, you get 5 games.

totally worth it.
