So I was talking to a couple of guys about the 'Indiana Jones: Adaptation' - This for those not familiar with it is where a group of 12yr old kids in the 1980s decided to reshoot 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' themselves... Six years later they finished...

Anyway... The guys' reactions were, 'didn't they have anything better to do...?'

My God!

So when you're 80yrs old and look back at what you did when you were a kid, what will you remember more fondly:-
1) Kicking a ball around in a park, watching TV or generally being bored stiff a lot of the time.
2) Actually creating something quite remarkable!

As for showing their Raiders homage to others, Strompolos tells me, “We have legal constraints. We can’t take advantage of opportunities for theatrical release or home video because the intellectual property doesn’t belong to us.”

Thus the law gives us the absurdity that you will be able to watch a documentary about the teens’ undertaking, but you won’t be able to watch Raiders: The Adaptation itself. If you want to see our young heroes’ handiwork, you’ll have to wait until the year 2076, when the original Raiders copyright expires (unless Congress extends copyright terms yet again). The boys will be teeing off on their 105th birthdays right about then.

Somebody better torrent this....sounds like a labour of love, and something genuinely worth seeing.
