Here, discuss some of your TV/movie opinions that go against "the norm". These are your opinions that usually get you laughed at, scoffed at, insulted, or physically attacked when you admit to them.

I'll begin with some of mine:

- Lost sucks

- Star Wars was the most overrated series of movies ever made

- Dallas was just plain boring

- 300 is not all that great

- Clint Eastwood > John Wayne (this one always gets my father all worked up :lol:)

- 2001: A Space Odyssey was pretty bad

- Most Jean-Claude Van Damme movies are pretty good

- Family Guy > The Simpsons

I don't like Lost or Heroes.

I prefer Pepsi over Coke.(not a big one, I know, but I get crap for it all the time)

300 is overrated. It only looks good.

Guitar Hero, while slightly fun, isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread and just because someone plays it doesn't mean that they're a musician.

Lord of the Rings film trilogy is dull and ****ty.

The Matrix sequels are great.

Out of the prequel trilogy, Star Wars Episode 1 is the best and it goes downhill from there.

Doom 3 > Half-Life 2.

Resident Evil (film) sucks so much donkey balls.

I enjoyed Darkman 2 for what it was.

I have yet to see a Olivier Gruner flick that has not entertained me.

John Wayne is a crappy actor and James Stewart ain't that great either. Bogey beats them both in terms of coolness.

The Indiana Jones films are silly and for kids.

The Doors suck extremely hard, Jim Morrison was not a good singer, nor was he a talented lyricist. He was just a guy on drugs who used to write crappy poetry and continued on to write crappy lyrics and sing them terribly. The rest of the band was nothing special either.

Led Zeppelin is also extremely overrated, they really don't do it for me at all.

Lord of the Rings was not half as good as everyone made it out to be, and in no way deserved all the awards it got.

Women should be more ladylike? This is an unpopular opinion but hear me out here. Im not saying they should prance around and wear makeup most of them do that by their free will even though theres no need. I mean that now men and women are equal ( more or less ) I still see alot of guys keeping to the old sort of saying only a weakling hits a woman. I just see alot of ladettes taking advantage of this. To back up my points here are things Ive seen women do which if a man did then they would have ben coughing teeth for a week

Can anyone at all see where Im coming from? The things listed above are if a guy did to another guy there would be some serious hell to pay but in these situations most of the guys just looked ashamed tried to walk away.

you know I think this is the most eerie thing...that's exactly what I think about those movies there...I f**king HATE star wars and hadn't watched 2001 until last year, and as soon as it was over I just scoffed...what a completely annoying, pretentious, boring piece of shhhhhhhite.

Stanley Kubrick is extremely narcissistic, over rated and boring.

The Devil Wears Prada was an indulgent piece of b**sh*t bereft of both irony or self awaremess.

Billie Piper is actually a good actress

Return of the Living Dead 3 was the best in the series but still wasn't that great.

If you actually read "the seven signs of ageing" you'll notice that the same thing crops up at least twice, There aren't 7 signs of ageing, just one...its called AGE. There's no such cream as a "time reversal" cream either. Morons. THEY INVENTED THAT TO MAKE YOU FEEL PARANOID! As mayor quimby once said whilst opening a cosmetic surgery clinic "no longer shall we be terrorised by the spectacle of women ageing naturally"

However I think you missed the point a bit - you seem to be tarring women with one brush there because of a few bad situations you've witnessed. Now I'd bet my bottom dollar that the girl who was "Spitting in the face of a larey drunk chav" was in fact a larey drunk chav herself. Not much to do with gender but a lot to do with class and social status. I'd say girls from certain class systems are masculised because of their surroundings so being lady like isn't exactly what they are going to do because there's nothing really to draw influence from....couple this with more and more single parent families without a decent male/female role model and it all gets a bit hairy.

What I'd call for an end to is chav-dom...those benefit scamming throwbacks who like "2 fast 2 furious" because "its gud and its got cars innit" and procreate for government handouts. I don't think it has anything to do with gender, just a simple respect and empathy, understanding of human behaviour and god forbid, a bit of class and intelligence. That goes for the blokes and the girls who choose to spend their evenings either on street corners (prams included) or hanging ass-first out of a dingy pub on a friday evening tanked up to the tits on alco-pops or Stella singing football songs whilst urinating at packed bus stops.

I dont think Im tarring all women with the same brush but I can see youre point, Ive got plenty of female friends who act nothing like this. I try not to label people by social group but Im human, we all make judgments willingly or not about who we meet but yep chav girls. It was just an opinion I couldnt voice much its one of those biased things. Ive had a few women tell me that they are smarter in the age old battle of the minds of who is smarter and whoop she is a strong feminist woman standing up for herself! Oh yea, and I totally agree with 2001 sucking, that movie was complete ****, and I want all 141 minutes of my life back that I spent watching it.

It's very frustrating when people instantly assume that someone "didn't get a movie" or "don't have the mental capacity to fathom a movie" if they don't like it. Wake the **** up, some people just don't like movies that you like.

Country (at least modern day) is one of the worst things I've ever heard. It hurts to think about/hear it.

I think that baggy clothes are retarded. Do you honestly need clothes so big that you could house at least 2 or 3 other people in them?

Macs are ****ty, PCs are the way to go. They have a terrible OS (There's a reason people install XP onto Macs). Also their complete proprietary bull**** is frustrating.

Super Smash Bros. Melee sucks hard balls. The original surpasses it more than I can even imagine.
