World War Z timeline

Has anybody come up with a timeline for World War Z yet? I know the outbreak is supposed to start in the 2010s, and that it's been 10 since it ended when the interviews were made, but how long did it actually last?

I got the impression that the war lasted around 3-6 years. They talk about 2 or three winters and the 3 years it took to secure the U.S. But that's just in the States. The war was still going on during the book writer's time.

The australian astronaut who was interviewed stated they were aboard the International Space Station for a total of five years before the civilain run Spaceship 3 picked them up and dropped off a new crew to relieve them.

So, yeah, at least five years, it would seem.
