As I spent time working and talking with the creators of those products over the past several years, it became clear that this was the right next step for myself, my colleagues at Turtle Rock, our customers, and our products," said Michael Booth, founder and CEO of Turtle Rock Studios. "We are excited to be a part of such a visionary and forward-thinking company."

That's a bit of a s**t considering the game was supposed to be released last September. That will officially make it a year late. :dead:

Nowadays it's like every single game is delayed...I wish they'd say absolutely nothing but a year for a guide until they definitely know they can deliver on the date they say, cos if they don't, they're just playing with gamer's heads man! :eek:

I thought this had already come out on PC...hmmm...me noggin's on the fritz. :)

If that's what some companies are doing, then it's retarded and disrespectful to the consumer. A solid and focussed advertising campaign is the best thing, get the game out there (providing it's not covered in bugs and glitches) and there you go.

And I don't think GTA4 really needs anymore hype, it was already massive enough when it was supposed to be coming out in October 2007.

No doubt with GTA4 being delayed, is actually because they needed more time to fix bugs or whatever...as for delays in general, if it's a genuine mistake and not just 'whack down any old date cos we won't be sticking to it', then I'd rather have a game that works.

Its been that way with movies for years man...its probably no different with games. I mean sure they are probably ironing out bugs every now and then but I don't think that any games manufacturer is really stupid enough to unleash a release date before they were confident that bugs were fixable and ironed out. I guess games can be a bit lame like that, ie: you throw one new element in and it crashes out the rest of the game...but you'd think that a detailed and logical plan would be in place and a release date only given to the public at the stage in which the game has been produced and all that remains is marketing, advertising and other beaurocratic elements are fulfilled...I geuss even they can herald delays. I just don't trust computer games companies to be honest....I reckon they use any and all excuses to delay a game and make fans just a little bit more hungry...I know that every time that happens I want the game a little more...the delays to Half Life 2 proved this...mind you that was a fantastic game...

well ****..i was looking foreword to playing on live with this with some of the chaps here.

i'd think that'd be most every zombie fans wet dream, playing a game like this on-line with people who frequent a message board based on the undead.

I think the only zombie who can leap great distances is one of the 4 boss zombies. All the regular ones only have the ability to run and, as you saw in the video, clamber up to the second level of houses. Basically Dawn 2004 runners.
