Andy was about the only character I cared for in that wretched abomination. However, if you watch his video diary on the DVD, it turns out that he's a bit of a pleb really.

She's a cute person, but I didn't give a damn whether she lived or not. The lead guy was the only one I kinda wanted to see make it. But now that you mention it....Andy probably was the best of the group. And didn't he have only one line? ("Those bastards bite hard")

That says something, right there...

Sarah Polley is well fit...I dig her definitely...

Favourite character from that piece of rubbish? Erm...I'd say the lead white guy from Medium...he wasn't over the top or annoying in any way...but even him or his character couldn't hold uo that wafer thin nonsense.

How about that dumbass girl that ran after the dog that was sent in to get food to Andy?

She takes the cake for dumbasses in zombie movies. The same goes for that spic (the original little yellow bastard. Take that Sin City!) in Day of the Dead. Miguel rained on Rhodes' parade, and for that slight, I will never forgive him.

Those two would be my picks from a line-up of jackasses.

EDIT: Of course, there's Harry Cooper too, from Night. He was a jackass in both, Romero's and Savini's.

Favourite character from that piece of rubbish? Why do people keep calling the remake a abomination? :rockbrow: of course it isn't as good as the original, but as remakes go it was one of the better ones.

Forget the fact that it was a remake, forget that it had George's name on it, and various homages to the original....I plain didn't enjoy the movie one bit,,,,was outlandish, over the top and had all the heart of an insect.

The same reason that people constantly bash on Land. It's b*tching. That's the internet is for.

I can see why people might enjoy it as an action film, but even at that it's still a poorly made film, IMO. Regardless of it being a remake.

i'd be careful about this there are some overly touchy crybabies on here. i once used the term wetback in a post and the amount of whiny cry, cry almost broke my heart.

the chick that goes after the dog is easily the dumbest person in any of the movies either made by romero or remade by someone else.

I liked the movie. It was a good action/horror movie. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for the people in it I liked Andy and CJ.

The chick going after the dog was a dumb character I agree...but the dumbest character in any zombie movie....not so sure i agree with that....how about the biker that decides it is a good time to check his blood pressure, right after throwing pies in the zombies face....he was a real Einstein that guy....Or Cholo....He wanted 5 million dollars...3 years or 5 years after the outbreak started in this dimension or that dimension or universe or whatever...that 5 million ransom...what a smart guy.

They ripped him off the thing. I would call that a bit of a threat...

Only after he's been dicking around on it for five minutes...Dawn 04 zack's would've shredded him before he got near it...they are far more lethal and threatening than GAR shamblers (although I still have a deep love for said zeds). :D

Put it this way....nobody would be able to take jewelley off or pie D-04 zeds, they's get butchered in seconds....seriously, just watch that mall scene and look at the time and space the raiders have...can you imagine them getting away with that if those zeds were D-04 types? Honestly?

GAR zeds are only threatening in large numbers or tight spaces IMO...that's why his films work, it's the humans who destroy each other through sheer stupidity or by turning on each other, the zeds just pick up the scraps.

I was really just talking about the original Dawn's zeds seriously sorry guys, but those zeds are just to slow and easy to escape from to be honest.:( Now Night and Day zeds those were more threatening and scarier than Dawn's :)

You see, that's part of it tho. They lure you into a false sense of security with their slowness. Then, before you know it, you are surrounded.

Uh, we don't really take kindly to racism around here, so please refrain from expressing your personal beliefs.

Anyway, the only two people I liked in this movie were Andy and CJ. The other characters were just "eh".

Kenneth. I really didn't like any of the other characters, but Anna and Steve were the worst of the bunch.

My favorite character was the guy with a date with the fat chick from Dairy Queen... only because that was the best line in the movie and it had me rolling.
