i found this on scifiwire:

Hasbro has started taking orders on its Web site for a 14-inch figure of the Cloverfield monster that will retail for $100 but won't ship until Sept. 30; photos of the figure aren't yet available.

I would probably get it if it weren't so high. I thought that thing was awesome in the film...

I wonder if they'll make the bags on the side of it's head inflatable.:p

Is there any other footage or pics of the monster besides the one shown above? That's all I can find on the net.

seems like they're trying to keep the lid on this one, as i can't find jack sh!t for pictures either, aside from the one bassman posted and a bunch of drawings.

the level of secrecy this movie is retarded. what is the big deal about some dumb-ass cg monster? makes me not want to see it, as the secrecy and speculation has about made me wanna puke...it's surely not that groundbreaking.

i still imagine i'll catch it in theaters, but not till it's in the cheap seats. eight bucks is too much for a movie these days, particularly one that's only 75 minutes long.

i mean, c'mon....date movie was total crap, but it still lasted over 80 minutes.

I guess you haven't seen the movie, Relic.

The monter and the parasites look nothing like that.

i dunno $100 seems a bit steep for something from Hasbro. maybe if it were a WETA collectible or soemthing.

i dunno, maybe when they release pics of it that'll lure me in.

ddue, the monsterr wasnt like that, its close but thats not it, it had more arms, like a pair of spindly t rex ones and a jaw like a crab or something, close, but no, i wouldnt pay for something that didnt look like what its meant to look like.

You know, it may be because you don't get the perfectly clear look at the thing in the film....But I have to agree with you. It's close, but not what I saw.

Then again, it seems that if they're going to have an officially licensed toy that they would have created it using the concept drawings of the monster used in the film...

The parasites look NOTHING like I remember them...

The parasites look NOTHING like I remember them...

they were like pale versions of the soldier bugs from starship troopers.
