I'm a n00b here, and I just have a thing about reading FAQ's....you know..until I need them....so I'm supposing that this might not be a bad place to put my first post.

Love dead films. Actually met Tom Savini about 15 years ago while working for Costume World in Pgh, Pa (and he actually signed his book for me....what a great guy.)

Anyway....as I mentioned, I'm a huge fan of films which have followed in Romero's legacy (and a few before.....loved the old Vincent Price flick "The Last Man on Earth", and "Omega Man")

This looks like a cool place.

Welcome to the boards, I hope you enjoy your stay. Much like a zoo, we do have "Don't Feed" signs around, but ours mostly point to trolls... which have seemingly been less and less with these new boards. Anyway, welcome.

Golden wrote another Octavian book called, "The Gathering Dark", featuring our hero as a mage, embarking on a new set of adventures.

it can be fun here
but it has been a lot more tame than it used to be

a lot of the energy that made this place special
kind of fizzled out with the new forums

but it is still a really cool place and has some great people
here
