Edit: Whoops, that's "King of Kong".
I didn't know quite where to put this, media or games. Anyway, here goes.

I watched this recently, and its become one of my favorite documentaries ever. Basically, it follows Steve Weibe, a regular joe who is attempting to beat the world record high score for Donkey Kong. It starts out normal enough, but it quickly becomes apparent that Steve won't get the recognition he deserves unless he proves his worth to the classic gaming nerds at the world famous arcade, Fun Spot.
So begins one our journey in to one of the oddest, offbeat subcultures in existence. The bulk of the movie takes turns introducing us to a large cast of characters, ranging from the guy who stays up for 2 days straight to confirm a high score, to the current king of Donkey Kong, Billy Mitchell. The film sort of portrays him as the villain, as most of his screen time is made up of smug remarks and self praise. Will Steve be able to overcome not only the high score, but the acceptance of the classic gaming nerds? Or will Billy's seemingly untouchable score of over 800,000 stand the test of time?
I implore all of you to check it out, it works as a comedy as it does a heartwarming inspirational tale. Here's another review, if you're not quite swayed yet:
