just in,e's acquitted of that would could have netted him as much as 16 years in jail. now he faces as much as 3 for not filing a tax return................isnt illegal, its if u file a false return where they can prosecute you.....geez, i guess if u have money then they throw the book at you where frivolous charges come into play.

I don't feel sorry for him. When you have that kind of money, there is NO excuse not to have your taxes done on time, paid in full, and every other thing. He wasn't paying enough attention to his own affairs.

umm u dont get the point. it isnt illegal to NOT file. its illegal if u file a false return which it's been proven he didnt do. my dad has not filed in the last 7 years and its perfectly legal.

That's only if you don't owe money. If you owe them money, it sure as hell is illegal to not file. You WILL pay your taxes.

ok so he didnt owe......why would he even be brought up on charges then? its not like he wants to not have taxes taken out so he can use the money cuz he needs it :rolleyes:

its a double edged sword with that because if u make any residuals that year and file ur taxes then why dont they come after u for someone buying a dvd of yours the day u file? dumb ass justice system. more like INjustice

They are appealing the ruling. Saying the government is trying to make an example out of him and it is clearly a case of selective prosecution.

Weird thread that was. But yeah, what's the point of making huge gaps like that? Must be a mental 'tick' or something.
