If only there were more good bands playing Download festival this year, I'd see them there. As it is I think I'll be at Reading this year. Would have been cool to see a Kiss show though.

Please don't play Wembley or the 02. As much as it will hurt me, I will NOT go if they play at either one of these venues!

KISS isn't a real band anymore -- they're little more than a tribute band now, a stagnant nostalgia trip. Real bands make new music and move forward. There's no excuse for them not recording a new CD in over a decade -- no excuse at all.

they dont go platinum so they dont release an album and get into debt. good enough reason or are you that selfish?

I'd disagree with that because what makes them a real band is the fact that they do so much to make their shows fun for their fans who, by the way, have been incredibly loyal for decades. So what if they don't put out a new material now, some old bands still do but they're not what they used to be (like Metallica). I respect KISS (as well as enjoy their music) because they know there are a lot of people who still want to hear them live, so they continue to play even though they have more than enough money to live happily for the rest of their lives. And those Kissology dvds are sweet as hell too.

agreed. they still tour on the regular and prices are low to say the least. $50 on their last 3 tours got u front row. idk what other big band can say that.

also, they do the kissology series(like u said) which everyone is trying to copy and failing miserably since they dont have nearly the same amount of taped concerts and other things to put on dvd. and the other poster before u said "kiss cant release another album" but uhhh yet the multiple "best of" cds universal puts out all seem to go gold or better. and other bands release new material and cant seem to get the job done.

I've heard nothing but bad reports about the new Wembley and how you could land a line of Boeing's in there. As for the 02, I saw War Of The Worlds and The Smashing Pumpkins there and both experiences were a f**king loss audiowise.
