Ben Chapman has died

For those of you who don't know:

Ben Chapman who played the original Creature from the Black Lagoon passed away this morning in Hawaii.

He was 82

I noticed that M.

I recently started getting into the
classic horror films both by universal
and others.

He was amazing as the creature
in a time when special effects were
as "primative" as they were.

And from people who met him, I was told he was
a nice man.

R.I.P.

I love that old film. But did he play the Creature in the water scenes or in the land scenes?
