Actor Nicolas Cage has been accused of using his production company to "wrongly write off $3.3 million in personal expenses." The National Treasure star is fighting an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) payment after allegedly using his Los Angeles-based company, Saturn Productions, to pay for "limos, meals, gifts, travel," reports New York gossip column PageSix.com. However, a spokesman for the star says the items were "security needs." Cage has filed a U.S. Tax Court lawsuit disputing $814,000 in taxes and penalties while Saturn is refusing to pay the IRS $988,000.

Why don't these rich people just pay their f*cking taxes?! It's not like they can't afford it.

That's the problem with this country.
We don't have enough funding for education, public transportation, healthcare, etc. but all these rich bastards try and hide all their money to avoid paying taxes. Then the government decides to raise average Joe's taxes to help pay for everything...not a good long term scenario. :annoyed:

nothing would please me more than to see nicholas cage in an orange jumpsuit with a number on the back after having been raked over the coals and about this.

but , very unfortunately, it probably won't happen. this guy is going to have a posse of big money lawyers and has buckets of cash to throw at this until it goes away.

We ?

Why should the government pay for all of these things ? We're not socialists. We are moving slowly in that direction though.

The IRS is ****ing evil. Why do they get 27% of my money ? That's nearly .30 on the dollar.

BAN THE IRS.
