Xbox online question...(website, not Live)

I don't recall registering on the site when I first got my console, but instead registered via post (when I got my extended warranty).

Now that my box is winging it's way to repair-land, I can trace its progress apparently. I'm 9 months down the road now and hadn't had any need to use their website until now.

My question is however, as you need to register to get to the repair tracking part, will me registering online through their site affect my registration 9 months ago (by post in May 2007) at all?

Why should it? Your console registration and repair tracking registration are two completely different sections.

Ah but to see the repair tracking you have to register on the site (as in register the console, so it appears anyway), which was why I was wondering if it could cause some bugger up.

If you're not sure, call 'em and ask, the numbers are in the instruction manual. Expect a good 15 minute wait though.

It's f*cking useless anyway, you can't get the thing registered as it says my gamertag is in use - can't remember whether I registered it by post (like if that was a field in the thing) or some c*nt has that name on there, I duno.

The site just sits there "connecting" to squat and does nothing. Geez. Guess I'll just have to wait. At least UPS does it properly with tracking, I can see exactly where it's been and where.

you can have more than one, i registered mine to my msn live account but then my current tag is the one im usign by a different email wether i could register the console again i dont know, though i doubt it, i know sony throws a **** fit when you do that.
