What is the best Italian zombie film in your opinion?
That's a tough one for me...my first instinct is "Zombie", but then "The Beyond" is also great because it has such atmosphere..."Gates of Hell" is also up there too...but I'll probably say "Zombie"
yeah fulci is automatic but what about other italian zombie movies like burial ground,zombie4, zombi3, hell of the living dead, cemetery man, nightmare city, etc.
Burial Ground is awesome. But I won't consider the he best. HOTLD is good, for what it is. Dellamortre Dellamore...oh yeah, it's right up there as a contender for sure. Nightmare city is fun, but definitely not the best. Z3 & 4...eh...
My top 2 are The Beyond and Zombi 2. I really enjoy Demons, which is nonzombie, but fast paced & cool. Demons 2 is laughable and inferior to the first film.
Demons is an awesome movie, which I have not seen in years. So close to a zombie moive it might as well be one (AGGGHHH! Shades of "28 Days Later!"
