Will there be efforts to save all the archived news and information? This place is a treasure trove. It was also instrumental in providing a starting port for tracking down old articles and information for my documentary. It might seem silly but this site was a huge help and I'd hate for a future filmmaker to miss out on potential leads.

Not an easy decision to let the main site die with 27yrs invested in it

ps: As regards saving the information?:-
    1) I assume even if the site goes down there will remain to be https://web.archive.org/web/20230615...eofthedead.com
    2) I have a full working copy of the site (not forum) on my personal machine.
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Perhaps some of the info could be copy/pasted into threads on the new forum?
