Zombie makeup. HOW?

Ok, Im only 15 and have a pocket camera for photos and videos. I plan on making a silly little zombie movie with my friends, and how could I do makeup? I don't have the money or knowledge to do foam casts. The only way I can think of is getting oatmeal and drying it on the actors face. Also any easy ways to make fake blood?

Left $5.00 for pack of smokes. Ask Cereval, he knows make-up he can probably tell you how to do on the cheap.

Thanks. Does the oatmeal thing work too? I live in a small village though and the only place to get supplies is the local Quik Stop. I can get the karo syrup and food coloring though. Also I dont smoke.

I dunno if oatmeal works. Savini did it in Day of the Dead with Cheerio's.
