    Resource Roundup

    At another board I go to we do resource roundups.
    Where new resources such as apps, plugins, tutorials, workflow enhancements, etc are posted periodically.

    So I'm establishing it here now.
    As I think it's needed.
    Anyone can request that apps that aren't covered now, be included at any time.

    Of Course, first is lynda.com
    Excellent learning resource. Professional lessons for a large span of software, if you can afford Pro tutorials this is the site you need!

    After Effects mostly, but also contains simple DV based links::

    thepluginsite

    adobe_devnet_aftereffects

    Tool-Overview
    /creation.mylenium.de/

    Premiere Links::
    Premiere Pro Training

    For the total noob::
    How To's-
    This one is interesting.

    You may or may not have already heard of them, but they make a product called Editors Keys, which is a set of stickers of all the hot keys and keyboard shortcuts for most of the popular video editing apps.
    I have several sets of their Final Cut line of stickers. They're nice, color grouped and they also say the actual key so you dont' lose track.
    They're good because I wanted to have a wireless keyboard but there wasn't an option for wireless model available that had the keys stamped for Final Cut.
    Plus those are expensive as hell.
    The link is to their resource site, but just go to their homepage to see their products.

    To Be Contd....

    OK

    So, the way this works is other people add resource sites to the pool, and in the long run we end up with a thread full of links to educational resources.

    I have an audacity hybrid disc someone gave me.

    By 'hybrid' you'd expect there to be a Mac and PC version on the disc, but there's only PC.
    I've played with it on my Dell but I prefer to work on the Mac, so I use Soundtrack Pro mostly.
