I tried to find that pic of Colin Powell with "I ain't readin' all that sh*t" on it, but couldnay find it...instead, here's a pic of two cute puppies, one of which is nibbling the other's face. What I'd like, is a kind of Call of Duty vibe - as in, you're one of many, and it's not all down to you. Like you team up with a bunch of people to take out the big baddies like the Beserker and above...that'd certainly suit if they're really up for this whole 'full on war' angle - which would be pretty awesome, as it'd be something fairly different from the first game, which as they said, was very personal in it's relatively small scale nature.

Switched from text to scans, I think it's safe to say Gears 2 is the best looking game ever.

Definitely looks interesting, hope they don't stray from the fairly simple gameplay of the original, though I doubt they'd change something as important as that. Also, those 'Derricks' look quite a bit like Halo 3's Elephants
