    'Quaranteen' - The [REC] remake...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I saw the trailer last night. I read a number of people bitching because it spoils the ending of REC. Kind of pissed me off, too. Is it true for those who have seen REC.

The female reporter gets dragged off by the infected and killed?

That is what it shows in the trailer for the remake.

    Yes it does.
The way the remake is set up its not a spolier to Quarantine because they establish the scenario at the beginning. The beauty of [REC] is that you have no idea whats coming.

So, what you're saying is they are two diffrent movies with diffrent point of views? Is the remake the aftermath of REC....sort of? I still want to see both movies, but its a hell of a way to spoil an ending. The youtube user remarks didn't help, either.

"Contain the truth" ... ugh - LAME.

As someone said on YouTube, super lame that Hollywood has already remade a BRAND NEW movie!

Looks entirely the same as the original, they piss all over the ending by showing it in there, and since when does a Hazmat team dress up like the marines and carry guns - the military went in to check, surely.

Colour me uninspired, the unoriginality of Hollywood strikes out once again.
