The only advantage the PS3 has over teh Xbox360 right now is that it has a Blu Ray player built in. Other than that one thing and Metal Gear Solid 4 there is no reason to get a PS3 anymore, especially after the past couple days announcements at E3.

Eh. I'd like it if Resident Evil would f'in go back to ZOMBIES. I don't like these chainsaw wielding maniacs and townspeople with axes. I'll still buy it, though.

gotta agree...as much as i enjoyed resident evil 4, and am looking forward to re5, it's a completely different series now.

truthfully, i think re5 looks like an exact copy of re4, with slightly better graphics and a different environment/village. the same "octopus head" (to quote someone from this site, not sure who) villagers, another dimunitive cackly-voice little creep who most likely turns into a giant oozing pile of eyeballs and tentacles, chainsaw freaks, etc. as a matter of fact, i doubt i'll purchase re5, now that i realize it's basically re4 all over again.

they really should go back to their roots....i would love a revamped version of re2 with next-gen graphics and gameplay, online features, and achievements. i'd probably buy that over re5.

that cartoon...am i correct in assuming that it is representing microsoft, nintendo, and sony, respectively (left to right)?

oh yeah, and i only know one person who owns a ps3 (aside from people on this site who say they own one).

fu(k yeah, dude. a proper online game, a la resident evil: outbreak, with kiler co-op, lots of zombies, achievements, weapons, vehicles, etc. and a mode similar to "infinite mode" from dead rising meets free-roam of gta4.

Yup, with you on this. The video might be all flash and glossy (with great in-game shots btw) but all I was saying to myself was, "this isn't Resident Evil".
