JCVD - Has Van Damme done a good film?

Seems his latest flick is getting some really good reviews...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Universal Soldier is a great movie...I still can't look at the cigarette lighter in my car without saying "the bleeding has stopped" in a van damme voice....

Timecop was a great movie too, and Bloodsport...awesome!

Will wait for this one to come out on Sky though...

Yeh, but he's not done a good flick for sometime now!

Actually some of his movies are not bad, just that americans wrote him off. There is a lot stuff of his that is pretty much on par with his other stuff from when he was popular.

I've watched two Van Damme movies that I liked. Lionheart and Hard Target.

Agree, I think Bloodsport was his best. Partly because he wasn't too over the top as an action hero in it.

I know JCVD gets a bad rep for his martial arts history - there was talk at one time baout him lying about it - but he actually had quite an impressive one...

    17-1 (17 knockouts) record.
