Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Reports like this have been doing the rounds for years - even by the BBC. I'll take this with a very large pinch of salt.

This seems a little more concrete than the others...

Have you heard any more about this? I loved Blake's 7 - it would be interesting to see what they would do with it.

I'd rather see a remake of the Prisoner. . .

I've been told that I really need to see Blake's 7; but I don't think it's been released on DVD in the US? Is this correct? An amazon and netflix search turned up nothing.

It's a great series, will. I got a couple VHS tapes at Media Play years ago, but haven't seen dvd's anywhere. Hopefully there are some out floating around out there for the Americans. It used to be on our public tv channel, but not for years. Kerr Avon rocks!

Indeed you do. The series finale is a complete shocker!

I'm sure the DVD set is obtainable quite easily via the web.
