Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I wasn't all that impressed with the first one. Kevin Bacon was perfect, but the supporting cast was irritating as hell and the special effects were overrated. Christian Slater must be pretty hard-up for work.

Well that really explains why the last big thing he has done was Windtalkers.

It's funny. I used to get Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater confused with one another. Now Slater is doing a sequel to a Bacon movie.

I'm still waiting for Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman to be in a movie together.

I confuse them two, also. Especially, the movies they are in.

I guess when the director of Showgirls turns down a movie, it should not be made.
