Its not odd to have a wedding at a cemetary.
Here there is Swan Point cemetary, where H P Lovecraft is
buried and it is a place right off Blackstone Blvd that
lets people jog, ride bikes, walk dogs, bring kids, have
events for Lovecraft and all other functions.

It is the most historical cemetary on the East Side and many
of the people buried there come from extremely wealthy families that
date back before the American Revolution.

They do check out whoever has something planned.
If u go to the main office and ask where Lovecraft is buried
they kinda look u over to see if u might be so inclined
    to dig him up.
then they give u a map to his grave, if u dont scream
    'i love the ELDER GODS!!'

But the point is they are very polite to all who
enquire about things and even if they refuse u they
do so with a sense of civility.

There really is no excuse for Evans people to be rude
cuz Romero made a movie there, when the cemetary where
Lovecraft is buried knows how to be polite.

Famous ppl involved with a place doent make rudeness
acceptable. Thats just low class behavior.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I havent read every post in this thread, but the ones I did read...no one mentioned Ft. Myers. Sunny city on the west coast of Florida, beautiful beaches, etc. I am sure you could have the cememony somewhere downtown where the opening of Day was shot. Most everything down there is closed. Weekends would be perfect. You could even get married on the steps on the old federal building. No doubt many people had gotten married inside before the place was abandoned. Still looks the same as it did in the movie.

Plus, Ft Myers would be a nice place for a honeymoon!
