    We live in a Republic. The government is not a evil empire but a democratically elected group of representatives. If you have a problem with what the government is doing; their are plenty of websites to go to view what your Representative, senator, is doing.

    Call them, write them, or more importantly vote them out of office if you don't agree with their points of view.

    If half of the people who post argue on the internet(Both sides of the isle) were to send off emails, letters, or make phone calls I'm sure more would get done.

    Actually. I DO all those things, and the only problem with voting that I have is that many voters have NO idea what they're voting for, but know that seniority often has perks, and therefore vote for the incumbant no matter what sort of dim bulb he actually is.
