Absolutely f***ing awesome news! Cancer is a horrible horrible thing. And if this is as good as it sounds, it's epic news!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Let's hope that this takes off - I'm sure everyone here has experienced cancer in some form or another, either personally or through a family member or friend. Indeed one of my family is a survivor of cancer, sadly though another member of my family died from cancer earlier this year. It's a horrendous thing and I dearly hope this is the beginning of something great in the fight against it.

    Cool news.
My mom had breast cancer, but she got it taken care of. So, yeah, this is great.

Many family members have had cancer, as well as a close friend recently beating cancer. This news is simply awesome.
