    The future according to films

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Pretty funny. I probably only read a quarter of them all, but caught three appalling flaws:

In Logan's Run, the age of death is 30, not 21.

In Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, they do not go back in time to preserve music; they go back in time to get historical figures for their senior project.

In Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, the evil robots are not sent back to prevent Bill & Ted from picking up historical figures; they're simply sent back to kill them and it takes place AFTER the first film.

    I'm a dork.

You're not a dork, I noticed those things too, Mike!

Did you look at the picture in the original post? Anything that's not a good film or a straight science fiction film, shenanigans is mentioned....
