How to pronounce Michonne...

I have heard it pronounced SO many ways it was frustrating me, and had a debate at the office today. For those of you who do not read the trades it is just a character in the comics... no big deal. Michonne Pronounced: me shon I asked a French translator here at the office, and that coincides with what I found online so I think it is accurate.

For years I thought it was pronounced Ma-kone-ay, but then Chris Hardwick pronounced it like you did above on an episode of talking dead and I figured they researched it to make sure. Plus it sounds better that way. Definitely a difficult name when you read it in print. Like Linux, named after a dude named Linus(Line-us), but the right way to say it is Lin-ux.
