Seems Ian Brady (discussed recently here) may have know where Keith Bennett's body is, and may reveal this information after all these years so the body can be laid to rest.

Police are investigating whether Brady gave details to his mental health advocate, Jackie Powell, during a visit to his psychiatric hospital.

Ms Powell was arrested in south Wales on suspicion of preventing the lawful burial of a body and has been bailed.

Brady and Myra Hindley murdered five children between 1963 and 1965.

They kidnapped, tortured and murdered the children, whose bodies were buried on Saddleworth Moor near Manchester.

Keith's is the only body never found
The audio interview is worth a listen. The question is, does the letter in question contain real information, or just a spiteful mind game

Oh my God... The day after this (above) Bennet's mother dies. She goes to the grave after all these years still not knowing her son has been found.

The mother of Moors Murder victim Keith Bennett has died, her solicitor has confirmed.

Winnie Johnson, 78, fought a long campaign to get her son's killer, Ian Brady, to reveal his grave.

Twelve-year-old Keith was abducted on his way to visit his grandmother in Manchester on 16 June 1964.

Mrs Johnson's solicitor, John Ainley, said she died peacefully on Friday night.

Her death comes a day after police said they were examining claims Brady may have revealed information about Keith's grave.

Brady and his lover Myra Hindley murdered five children between 1963 and 1965.

Police are investigating whether Brady, 74, gave details to his mental health advocate, Jackie Powell.

Mrs Johnson's former solicitor, David Kirwan, described it as a "cruel and ironic twist that she had now passed away".

He added: "She never gave up... She was Keith's mother."

Mr Kirwan said he was very glad that her family would continue the search for Keith.
