Destiny (video game) - Bungie announce their new fps mmo

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJmvjQXOokk

    What got announced today:
    >Its a free to play constantly online multiplayer fpsmmorpg set in the last human city as humanity tries to retake its colonies on other worlds after some near catastrophic war.
    >3 classes, a titan that uses heavy armour and weapons, a hunter who specialises in light armour and rifles and warlocks who specialise in mystical skills using a robotic ally.
    >no pc version, for xox 360, ps3, ps4 and xbox 720/infinity
    >has crazy vehicles and weapons scavenged from the enemies and alien races you encounter.
    >uses iphone/android apps and twitter and facebook integration for out of the game updates and interactions.

Honestly im a little wary after all the hype BRINK got that lead nowhere, but this has me interested, a game thats set - to begin with at least - on a post apocalyptic earth thats NOT radioactive and diseased but merely in ruin will be an interesting fps environment and exploring places like citys swallowed by deserts on mars, or colonies frozen in europas glacial canyons seems like a neat idea for a online fps. Kind of like borderlands with the constant "LOL LETS REFERENCE INTERNET MEMES AND BE SOOO RANDOM!" bollocks.

Fingers crossed, but no PC version = no play for me...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I want to like this, but something is telling me to steer clear... It's like it's too good to be true

Had an email from Amazon this morning offering a pre-order on this game...
