    The Last Piece Standing

    ...
    What did I just watch?
    It's not a porno, it's just weird.
So this disease wipes out most of the female population leading to societal collapse, this guy who sticks himself in a cabin in the woods has a solution most millionaires would pay a arm and a leg for and could easy get into a position to do it without legal repercussions.
And what was with that stuff with the medication at the start? these 'ghosts' are tangible enough to make messages and untie the girl and yet the loony scientist has magic pills to stop them? sheesh.
What's more striking is he alters the other guy into his wife, he's been doing it for weeks, shouldn't molecular altering them obliterate their personalities? do those transformed maintain their male brains and spines that eventually shut down or what?

Some very very WTF moments! And the very ending? WTF!?!?

    - 3/4 of women infected/dead? That leaves a billion others... You get the impression it should have been 90% or more of women?
    - Close up on keys being put on rack - red flag it will be of importance later.
    - 15:40 the most pert boobs I've ever seen!
    - 16:48 the loosest binding ropes I've ever seen!
    - Why all the ghosts?
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I think it is making a religious statement. Like during that transformation we see images of little girls and ponies which might be the memories of the wife (Lisa), I think the transformation process was intended to erase the male host (Alex) BUT the variable was that Alex's soul/lifeforce or ghost couldn't be erased and his persona was dominant. The only thing that throws this into question is when three identical ghost Lisa's which appear to Alex/Lisa in the basement.
The close up of the doll at 7:20-7:25 was a mess thanks to the stupid camera I couldn't tell if they were focusing on the doll or wood.

Yep, I know Eric, aka Mako, from other sites ( As back in 2012 I set out to turn an animated comicbook short of his into a proper novel. The end product eventually became something more, which I'm now shopping for an agent for that one ) - and his transformation vids are often hit and miss.
There is an odd mix of several movie threads going here, and they don't quite gel like they should.
Eric Dapkewvicz is actually a film editor for disney, but even George Lucas wasn't the best script writer and it didn't stop him from making movies ...
Eric is also currently pushing a sci fi indie film he made called Paradox Alice, which also deals with a global crisis and transformation. I confess that I haven't seen the movie in its entirety, only the trailers. Still, I pimp for Paradox Alice, as what are friends for.
