Visitors (film) - Koyaanisqatsi's Godfrey Reggio

Philip Glass has scored again too...

If it's just a fraction of the epic'ness of Koyaanisqatsi I'll be happy!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Christ, I haven't seen that thing in years. I remember us sitting around, a load of art students watching that on a terrible video. I was bored and compelled at the same time. I thought the music was good. Reminds me of Popol Vul.

Me and Mary Jane had one of the best experiences together watching this on real good video and audio like 5 years back. Hoping to relive that experience with this.

    Didn't "Baraka" do this first?
Oblivion gallops closer, favoring the spur, sparing the rein - I think we will be gone soon
