Merry Christmas you bunch of freaks!

Hope you have a lovely xmas with no serious zombie infestations!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. The supplies are in, windows and doors are boarded shut, presents wrapped, and I've dug a moat filled with sharp sticks a la Morgan to fend off any undead herds that happen to shuffle on by.

Merry Christmas (or whatever your holiday happens to be) to one and all in the HPOTD gang!

Personally I think we should all still celbrate Chidermass, where we beat and whip kids for the day as a reminder of the slaughter of all the young male children of Bethlehem at Herod's command. Another cracking bit of work there BTW God!

Sounds like you did it right! I've watched Christmas Vacation probably seven or eight times already this month. My absolute favorite Christmas movie and it just so happens the kids love it as well, so it's a win all around...

I still haven't managed to squeeze in a couple of my more "mature" Christmas movies like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, though. Might have to fix that little issue this evening...

So according to NORAD, Santa was on his way to Palmer Station, Antarctica; the last time I looked. If Old Saint Nick got infected by The Thing, he'd contaminate the whole world in just one night.
Visions of sugar plums just aren't gonna cut it round these parts.

The other night I was flipping around on the remote, and found Tim Allen on four different channels at the same time. It was really weird. Guess he's the Christmas go to guy now.
    Merry Christmas, errbody.
Party going on at my house right now, but I don't drink. I'm just the bouncer.
I'm hanging out here hazily finishing up Raising Hope's final season, and listening for sounds of stupidity...
Which I hope not to hear.
