Is this along the lines of Zombieland?

Don't really know much about it apart from the trailer, but it seems to have a bit of that vibe ... sort of an Australian Shaun of the Dead in some ways too.

Looks interesting even if, once again, they ain't shamblers.

Looks like it could be bonkers but fun! Almost a bit of an early Peter jackson vibe to it?
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Yeah ... it does look like it could be quite enjoyable. I had a good old chuckle at the beer cooler gag.

I saw it last night on Netflix, and I really liked it. Definitely Jackson inspired without being too silly. Story is serviceable, acting ain't bad, and the effects well better than average.
