Yeah, I saw this online a day or two ago ... sad news.

But it was really heart-warming to see them in a video (I think from a Pittsburgh newspaper's website) talk about all the letters they'd been receiving from fans. Good to know that he went out loved.

Can't say I was too familiar with him, other than being Lori Cardille's dad. But he seems to be been quite the TV personality in Pittsburgh.

I've been looking at some of the opening intros to 'Chiller Theater'. Some of that stuff is as creaky as hell. Gas stuff.

    Christ... That seemed quick
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Very popular guy in Pittsburgh.

    RIP Chilly, Billy.
