    The Uwe Boll Story

I remember this place having some very interesting and colorful discussions about Uwe Boll back in the day. When he was at the “height of his powers”. So I thought some of my fellow HPotD’ers would be interested in this documentary, as well.

I had a passing interest in Postal, as I'd played the games, but yeesh ... not much in the way of filmmaking talent, but evidently he had talent at raising money for garbage and convincing people to star in it (good paycheques, surely).

Never understand the actors that agreed to appear in his stuff...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Especially once he'd attained this dreadful reputation for making utter garbage.

It had to have been either too good a pay day to refuse, or just simple ignorance regarding Boll's dire back catalogue.
