Outlander (TV series) - Gratuitous gay torture porn!

About a 20th woman transported back to 18th century Scotland. Been five seasons fo far...

Started watching this, and was generally enjoying the series. Indeed a few episodes were very good!

But the last three episodes of season one?:-
Ep14 - Diabolically daft plot idea.
Ep15&16 - Some poor plot ideas, but worse still, drawn out gay torture porn, that was basically tedious for the amount of coverage the matter in question received for the plot/character development it delivered (basically none). I've never seen anything like it on TV, and in the end I actually FF'd past a section of it due to how utterly gratuitous/pointless it was.

I'll give episodes 1&2 from Season 2 a go, but if they're in anyway like S1E14-16, I'm out!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Neil, Outlander is universally recognized as being the Fabio-fronted Cassie Edwards litterature of the modern era.

Is there something you'd like to share?

I have no idea of what that is, but given the connotations, is there something you'd like to admit by the fact you know what it is?

Picture a book cover with Fabio on it. That's what you're watching.

    Lol!

Fair enough, but I really didn't sign up for the needless gratuitous gay torture porn, spread over two episodes...
